The Oxford Punch Needle is designed by punch needle expert Amy Oxford and hand made in the USA.
It is ergonomically designed for comfort and speed and features a hand turned maple wood handle and electro polished stainless steel needle.
It can be used with yarn, cut strips of wool and other fabrics.
This listing is for the #13 Fine Needle - it comes with the collector’s box, stitch gauge and handbook
We sell 2 types of Oxford Punch Needles in our store: the #10 Regular and the #13 Fine.
They use different weight yarn and also create different loop heights
#10 Regular (1/4 inch loop height) uses chunkier weight yarn. I recommend 14 or 16 ply (bulky or super bulky) yarn. You can also use rug yarn which is a bulky yarn.
#13 Fine (3/16 inch loop height) uses finer yarns. Anything from a 5ply to 12 ply yarn will work well with this needle
